  • #4 Can eating garlic help prevent infection with the new coronavirus?
Garlic is a healthy food that may have some antimicrobial properties. However, there is no evidence from the current outbreak that eating garlic has protected people from the new coronavirus.

    This is actually moderately false.

I assure you that for a given individual person, assuming everyone else isn't doing the same, eating a clove of fresh garlic or a fresh onion each day, spaced out throughout the day will decrease the chances of contracting COVID-19, or of spreading it to others.

Mostly because it encourages others to socially distance themselves.

Of course if EVERYONE does it then it'll get pretty hard for anyone to smell the difference, so no, it won't work as a general measure

Unless you're around people who like the smell of it. Weirdos, the lot of them.

I love the smell of garlic and love onions, but I don't even stand people who smell like that. So yeah, garlic might work for me.

You know what's worse than body odors smelling like garlic and/or onion?

Body odors smelling like garlic and/or onion AND attempting to mask and hide it using perfumes or colognes!

Eating a lot of garlic will not help COVID-19.............

But it will definitely help you with social distancing.........

I like how the vampire is named after a blood thinner (and rat poison)
