Why does she need the inner tube? Adipose tissue is less dense than water; with breasts that size she'd float no problem.

A literal ton. She is over a ton thanks to those arms. With her weight, to float she'd need a transport helicopter pulling her up.

Looks like her claws are detached from the sockets. But those metal sockets still probably weigh a lot, more than enough to cause her to sink. The floatie is necessary.
