As a person whose best girl in this series is Otomore, I find this image to be more than a little distressing. It's like all of my fears as a fan made manifest. The comments in the tweet itself is garnering a lot of speculation.

A lot of the signs seem to point to the fact that we've missed our opportunity for Otomore (in a route sense); which, given we've had several opportunities to see her previously that went unheeded, would not be at all surprising. She's still the only girl with an unknown likability level. This basically seems like the "cut-off date", so to speak. It also implies we probably won't be seeing much, if any, of her going forward.

My one last, vain hope is that this is less what I'm worried it is and more part of her "arc", which means we have still have a chance to see more of her, but...

I doubt that we're losing her route, at least looking at her posts on danbooru, she is equal to Kinjyou despite being added last among the three girls. Her whole Shtick appears to be being mysterious, aloof and rather cat-like (given her strong association with cats), and cats are not known for being outwardly affectionate.

Oh, whew. I actually feel quite a bit better about this now, as I've found a much more plausible explanation.

So, in going back through the replies to this tweet, I noticed a couple that theorize that this dream sequence is actually a reference to the artist's previous work, which unceremoniously ended on the 30th day without a continuation.

That would mean that this dream Otomore is actually the one from the original and is telling us/Otaku to forget about the events of that previous work and not dwell on it going forward in this new series. Much more comforting.
