    Hang in There, Kogasa-san 3529

I heard the story was going to be about the entertainment world, so I interviewed someone from within Nip◯◯◯ TV, but I'm sorry to say it went to waste.

After this, I began plot developments in order to end the story, but the heroine's female rival took actions even the author didn't understand, ones that made you ask, "Huh? She was thinking like that!?" It turned into a good story, if I do say so myself. :-)

Reader-added tags include "Kogasanecdote", "Happens a lot with editors' unreasonable requests", and "Putting an end to it, Sword World RPG Replay-style".

There are even readers who won't read something if it's a serialized work

    That sounds quite... arbitrary.

Presumably, this applies more to those who discover a serialized work partway through and don't want to bother getting all the older installments.

I often hear that the finest time of artists is when their characters develop and act by themselves.

    Oh, it's quite popular.
what do you think about running 3 books at 20 pages a chapter per month?

    I think it'd kill me.

Here's the discussion from when they were going to put out a dedicated magazine for The Bustys...
    Huh!?
TPB sales are slowing a bit, though.
You're going to end The Bustys!?
Has its popularity dropped that badly!?
Erotic works tend to lose sales as their number of volumes increase.
    I see...
    Fine by me, I guess...
So, for putting out this customized magazine...
There are even readers who won't read something if it's a serialized work.

We'd run your past work as well.
So we wondered what you'd say to ending it and then restarting it.
