I think Otomore-chan is the hidden/forgotten childhood friend character guys. Based on what Otaku says in these pages, that he knows this sweets store from long ago, and Otomore greets the store owner in a similar, familiar way (shared childhood?). AND that the two of them run into each other frequently close to their homes (they must be living close to each other, maybe since childhood too).
So I hope, for once finally, the childhood friend can win in the end.
Another thought: Why is her likability "??"? What if it's already pretty high, but they just won't reveal it until Otaku remembers who she really is? Proof of it being high is that she offers him her pocky without a second thought, which is a thing you don't do for strangers.

You know, for a while now I've been thinking that Otomore's ??% score was suspicious, that there isn't any point in hiding it unless there's something sneaky going on. I was thinking she might have had a secret crush on Otaku or something, but I had completely forgotten about the concept of childhood friends. Seeing you bring it up, I'm pretty sure you've hit the nail on the head.
Being a childhood friend would explain everything, because it would put her score a lot higher than her interactions would suggest, and if Otaku knew her before she adopted her current gyaru look, it would make prefect sense that he doesn't recognize her.
The bad news, if this is correct? Otomore's score has probably been going down this whole time. Not talking to her for a long time would have pushed it down, not recognizing her now probably hurts it, and she has shown up in the background of past scenes, so she might have seen him interacting with other girls, and who knows how she might feel about that.
What is with this encounter rate? We need to find a way to bump it up some.
The childhood friend theory has always been what my head canon has been working off of. Even though it was the previous (dream) Otomore, ever since the artist went out of their way to show what Otomore looked like in middle school, I've always kind of thought that Otaku knew her before and it's her changed look (maybe because she knew Otaku was into gyarus?) that is causing him not to recognize her now. Including this post, the circumstantial evidence to support that theory just keeps piling up.
