He definitely reacted suspiciously when he vehemently denied that he was a furry. There's probably some underlining context.
So, abject denial is now making you more likely to be pointed as something? Sounds implausible to me. Some people simply react differently harshly to some suggestion or another.
It can indicate guilt (but still hella unreliable), but in regards to tastes it is quite likely to be "somewhat" more flawed. I mean, if someone said, "Hey, you wana fuck your grandmother don't ya?" and you react with abject horror and denial, they can't really bring out the logic that you really actually want to do it from that reaction.
Some folk feel utter disgust just with the very thought of anything furry-fied. Simple as that. Likely linking it with zoophilia or some stuff on that path... or just haven't gotten corrupted by the internet long enough to become jaded.
For me, I don't really feel anything but apathy with the change. I prefer the normal. But that's about it. Either way, thank you, this was my awful TED talk.
Edit. yeah yeah, it was a reference to the official artist's/dev comment/comic. I didn't know that until 2 minutes after making this reply. I will keep it here though since it wasn't anything vile I said that I regret and want to hide under a pillow.
