Besides, these are character's they're playing. They're not real and I'm sure the VA can easily separate fiction from reality, unlike us.

I think numerous vtubers actively browse their own lewds for the hell of it, I believe even a few admitted that they use them as material.

I'm sure they're all familiar with how horny the otaku side of the internet can be.

Well yes there are some who browse or draw their own lewd arts and some who wants and relishes it, but there also are some(Suisei and Pekora are famous cases) for not liking them.

There is playing a character, and there is also wanting to maintain your public perception. Character or not, people have the rights to be creeped out having to imagine you're streaming to a thousand people wants to fuck you(and yes I am talking about the actress not the character).

Ultimately it depends on the girls and as Matsuri said here I think it depends on the person and you should respect the line. There is "I find you sexually attractive but that's just one part of why I like you" or "it would totally be my dream to have a wife like you" and there is "otaku at idol handshaking events telling the idol they just wanked to them earlier that morning and hadn't wash their hands".
