Reminds me of a doujin I've read with this situation. A little depressing but a great one too.

only one I can remember is one where Yukari leaves and causes the Harukeri barrier to collapse, leaving Reimu to fix it, realizing yukari has left Gensokyo for good. A bit depressing when Reimu starts losing hope and gives up trying to do anything
