I don't agree with this picture. Sniping something that is mind blowingly stupid and has no means of protecting itself isn't a challenge, nor is it something a real sniper would do. Real snipers have training and know that blindly shooting someone down is only going to bring the heat on you, either immediately or later. At the same time, I don't agree with YoruKishi's comment either. Sniping can be a crucial detail in a military conflict. It can be something you can't win without. It can even be something that saves the lives of large numbers of ground troops, and its a very manly thing to do in those circumstances. To know that if you are caught you will be tortured, disavowed and killed, yet to sneak into enemy territory anyway, and to kill your target anyway? That is a manly thing to do.
This picture is a disgrace to Snipers. REAL snipers.
I don't speak out of a concern for the overtly fictional creatures that were killed. I simply think that this pictures 'sniper' should perhaps meet something he CAN'T kill, that kills him in the same brutal and torturous way he killed the bean things. Preferably by tearing his limbs off and letting him bleed out while his genitals are on fire. (and no I don't mean on fire with pain, I mean on fire like visible flames).

A relative of mine was in the Army, and he never liked snipers. Too many of them that he met were simply people who loved to kill things and looked for any excuse to do so. One of them he met during Vietnam loved to brag about the story in which he camped out this one spot, staked out near an enemy encampment. He watched for a several days a single man come out of the encampment, go down by the water side and fill up buckets of water to take back to the encampment every morning. One morning as the man went to get the water, the sniper put a bullet through his head.
CHRIST!! You guysare loosing your minds over a fictitious and largely unbelievable character killing an even less believable fictitious character. Yes, it being a picture and thus a means of communication, you are entitled to your own responses; but come on! It's Solid Snake in Gensokyo! Wanton killing aside, it stands on its own merrits of randomness; two worlds (MGS and Touhou) that should never cross, and I appreciate that idea but it could have been implemented more tastfully.
PS. Professionals DO have standards. Not all snipers are bloodthirsty, my uncle (Lt. Colonel now, US Army) had a good friend who was a sniper, one of the most decent human beings I've met.

That last bit comes from Peace Walker-where you would gain extra heroism from not killin people like a madman. As for this picture, the artist is a total noob for doing this. Solid Snake would never do such a thing.

Perhaps in his later years, but considering Liquid's taunts to him in MGS1 are considered true by Snake, he wasn't always someone who stunned/tranqed his enemies.
"Disgrace to REAL snipers". I can't even begin to explain in detailed definition of how much of a Field Day I could have with at least 90% of these comments. Ipswich67 is probably the only person out of one or two other people here who commented with common sense and not unbrideled rage. Those who aren't joking should consider getting a grip on the fact that not all will have the same opinions like you. Also I think snipers would have a short, sporadic chuckle at this comic. Or at least shrug at this.
