Which is pretty much everyone's response to every anime ever created that was NOT based on a manga series... if it was a game it becomes "Uh no, the [whatever] version fails. Stick with the game."

the anime was good, yoichi wasnt annoying at all,, pretty much 90% of ecchi/romance animes the main guy is a wimp/really annoying

Glad here the guy is not a wimp...but I can foretell his future might be a perverted old samurai man.

If an "Asu no Yoichi" type harem is the alternative to a "Toradora" type, then I prefer the former. At least I can rest assured that the male lead won't choose the girl that annoys me and rule out all other possible pairings, which I usually like more then the OTP [or the closest thing to it]
