If you've read the earlier strips Kanako accidentally crushed Sanae's pet Yukkureimu with her pillar. Sanae had since had a falling-out with Kanako & has been feeding her nothing but grilled newts & locusts for the last 6 months. Just as she's ready to give up hope, her pet reappears fully fixed. So obviously she's crying tears of joy.
This one's more like "Happy Ending" for the rest of us.
