Actually, Ichigo makes a passable tomboy. However, being that 79.93% of Bleach's girls are tomboys anyway, this is rendered redundant and useless. Also, this Ichigo (wow, her name still works very well, of course!) doesn't have a scowl. More like a pout.

Why does this look so much like Ichigo? Maybe the artist made the hair too spiky, or perhaps the wrong shade of orange?

does anyone realize that Tatsuki is the female Ichigo? as much as a hate to admit, Tube does it with a lot of the characters. Half the girls that go to school with ichigo have a male counterpart... just look at the hair

Not really... Bleach characters are horribly underdeveloped anyway, and only a few actually have a personality that rises above utterly generic so I think characters can seem artificially similar. For example, Tatuski wants to protect Orihime, now Ichigo wants to save her. That's the main link between them, and that they're both seen as kind of scary by most of their peers, but that's just because Bleach is so simple in it's plot. Two rescue arcs padded out by training arcs. Ichigo's unique feature, as it were, is that he wants to save everyone on his own and is a twat when it comes to accepting help. Tatsuki isn't like that.

The moodiness? Well that's true, but then think about how many characters in Bleach are moody and snappy (usually in a juvenile way) and with little else to their character; the bald guy, Hitsugaya, Ichigo, Tatsuki, Ishida, Soifon, baseball kid, Tousen (since he went evil), the head captain, Hiyori, Nanao... Just off the top of my head. And then you have the characters that are moody but then Kubo added in a second personality traits in a weak attempt at variety; so the one-armed woman... She's moody, and drunk! Lisa... She's moody and likes Josei manga! Rukia's been gifted with a whole three moods; mopey, moody and "i has maded pichur" comic relief mode.
