It's slime. Melona is entirely made out of slime and can do a lot of ridiculous things with it ranging from going to loli form after losing mass, transforming into a giantess, cosplay as the other fighters or as a acid projectile.
In fact, you could argue that Melona is technically a goo_girl...but since it isn't easy to tell I'd rather not bother.
BTW It's not a bad series, its like Ghost and Goblins in where they loose clothes as their attacked, like they would in real life. As you can see from this Giff, its very well animated too. It's a shame that it will go undernoticed in the states do to the hentai factor.
I'm a pretty big fan of Queen's Blade (from before the anime) and even I think the anime isn't that great...I can't say it's bad but it's definitly far from good.
The fights so far (episode 1 and 2) have pretty poor animation(mostly stills and the second one even had that super cliched two people cross, one person survives thing), the OP is pretty boring, the story tries to take itself way too seriously.
I didn't expect it to be epic, but I was at least hoping for it to be better than this.

Because it's base material wasn't a hentai to begin with. It's a little annoying when people try to compare it with a hentai, I know it's not anime of the year or concept of the millenium material but it's certainly not as bad as to deserve to be sent to the hentai bin. I personally think Ikki Tousen's premise sucks worse...although the writing and presentation ended up better.
no, don't me wrong. I don't mean that as an attack on the series. I like hentai anyway. I'm just wondering why not since it's already gone far with the ecchi content

I totally agree with your comment, Sir. Indeed, while not expecting this to be the greatest thing ever, I was, as well, hoping to see something more than just tits flopping around. Fight scenes sucked, as they barely had any actual physical confrontation and anytime it seemed we'd be getting an actual fight (this happened with Claudette and Listy like 3 goddamned times!) stuff in the background started blowing up. In a way, I can't blame the creators as they're just catering to the wider audience who just wants to see boobs flopping all over the place. IMO, it's a shame, I'm a big fan of the first few QB books and their somewhat subtle cheekyness that unfortunately evolved to borderline pornography. I guess I'll just stick to appreciating the ecchi promo artworks...

It's on it's second episode (since last thursday)...and it sucked. Hopefully the third time's the charm...
well as i said before, sometimes shows like this take time to pan out in a somewhat respectable manner. so with two episodes down isn't it to soon to judge it as less than it should be?
