    図書館でなんとなく借りた「描こう!世界の古代文字」という本が、結構面白かったので描いてみました。文章は適当です。折角なので壁画風にしてみました。 ※※※また魂描き忘れとったーーーorzごめんなさい…

No she is a god who can bring famine to those who can give her food.

Fuuuuuuck. The two names were obviously easy enough, but I couldn't do the middle hieroglyphs because it didn't make any fucking sense to me.

They should be read from left-to-right, since the birds are facing the left, and from top-to-bottom, cause you never go bottom-to-top.

I can't distinguish between A and M, because I can't tell when the colored bird is supposed to be a fucking eagle or owl, unless that little white-colored tip is meant to signify an owl, in which case trying to decipher whether each colored bird has a barely-recognizable white dot is fucking impossible.

I also have no idea what some signs are; namely, the top one on the third column, unless it's supposed to be a 1/2 flipped upside down, and the... man thing (bottom on second column) unless it's supposed to mean a million.

And are those two scratches in the last column a 2, or did the author just not enough space to make the y glyph?

    God damn it all.

Thanks to hieroglyphics charts via Google:

I can tell what columns 1 and 4 (4 is slightly misspelled though) are saying, but only got the first half of column 2 and I've no idea what's going on with column 3.

No clue what that whole sequence of 5 symbols starting with the sideways "A"-looking one and ending with the man-thing that ends col.2 and starts col.3 is all about, and the 2nd half of col.3 doesn't seem to form any word I know (or I'm just reading it wrong, dunno).

Only on Danbooru can you find a Touhou image mimicing Egyptian art which includes translated hieroglyphics.

So Touhou is not limited to the internets or its memes. I can honestly say you never know what you will find on Danbooru.

I'm trying to at least translate this into normal letters using http://www.greatscott.com/hiero/ , but so far i fail. Also, if i manage to do it, i still won't know what it says, beacuse i don't speak japanese...
    In other words, please help!

Well, i managed to "translate" one word that is repeated twice as ??ut?. It looks like http://www.greatscott.com/down/horus_adv_keys.pdf was used, because i can't find the "O" character anywhere else, but i still can't identify the three ?s. I have no idea what that "E" character is, but i used some online dictionaries and food is "tabemono", so i guess it is "E".
It seems that some letters are omitted ("A" in tabemono)(thats apparently normal in hieroglyphics), so maybe the "knnichih" word could be konnichiha, which means <copypasta>"hello; good day (daytime greeting);"</copypasta>.
Also, can someone explain the "o" in otbemono? Is it some (in)definite article or something?
P.S. if someone deciphers one of the words, please write both the translation AND the letters (use tags for the letters)(if some letters are omitted, write both version with and without them)

I give up. I tried searching for japanese words that begin with darut/derut/dirut/dorut/durut, but i only got: Dalton's law, Dortmund and delta. Maybe it's onomatopoiea or something? Or maybe the man hieroglyph isn't single letter, but it is a word, and it is a pun when translated to japanese or something? Good luck to future translators. I would love to know what it says.

    Final finds: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gardiner%27s_sign_list and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egyptian_biliteral_signs .

The "<|=" symbol can be: d, mr(mer), hen, ichA (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_hieroglyphs/L) or i-don't-know-what-it-is-but-it-has-number-U7-here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_hieroglyphs/U (this is definitely this or badly drawn mr/mer)
edit before post: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_hieroglyphs/german-Gardiner-list-translated has no info about U7, so it's probably unknown and it is supposed to eb mer/mr

The man symbol can be: one million or infinity, "ı͗n" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egyptian_biliteral_signs) or lots of things from here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_hieroglyphs/A (A7 is most similar and means "to be tired" or "weak" and it is pronounced "wrdj" if i understand it)

Also, the "e" thing in otbemono looks like Z4 dual stroke http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_hieroglyphs/Z but i don't think anything else than "e" would make sense

    Translated.
I read the book "Egakou! Sekai no Kodai Moji (Let's draw world ancient script)" which this artist mentioned in Pixiv commentary.
The Egyptian hieroglyphic word "Love" was written in the book.

Thank you , henmere :) if i ever need to write "love" in hieroglyphics, i will just check this picture :D

The fact that we (Danbooru) have translated hieroglyphics is awesome. It is now proven that people who use Danbooru can become smarter - you can learn things you probably couldn't learn in school here! ;)

By the way, now that we have the full translation of every part, can someone check if there is a better translation of the whole sentence? I can't tell if it's supposed to be "I'm hungry. Yuyu Myon Love Love. Hello, food!" or what, because the "Yuyu Myon Love Love" part seems out of place. (japanese: Onaka suita yuyu myon <love> <love> konnichiwa o tabemono.)
