According to Metroid Wiki- According to Metroid II: Return of Samus' instruction booklet, Samus Aran weighs in at 90 kilograms and is 1.9 meters high. (Most likely in her Power Suit)
But since I don't have Brawl or a Wii anymore I can't really check to see if Brawl had similar proportions or even cared really.

Those numbers add up to around 190lbs and 6 foot 4, I have a hard time beliving that her power suit would add so little weight but then again I dunno what it's made of. I think it could be that back in the days of the old metroid games Nintendo drew Samus more athletic compaired to the more agile looking body she has now.
shes still quite fit, she just looks more slender, it seems possible that in the old games she was indeed that height and weight, but Nintendo made her look more femme as time when on
Actually 6'4" and 190 is a perfectly normal bmi for a human, 23.1. It's a bit on the heavy side (though not overweight,) but Samus is by all descriptions near the pinnacle of human fitness (if not slightly beyond thanks to Chozo DNA and training,) and muscle is heavier than fat.
tl;dr I think those numbers are actually for her unsuited.
Snake is 5'12" and 140 pounds Samus is 6'3" and 198 pound98
And yeah that's her real hight not the hight of her suit. also muscle weighs more then fat and female muscle forms somewhat differently. just to add, In Super Metroid Samus had muscular legs, muscular arms, and a six pack.
