There is no second season currently in production, or even planned for that matter.

Uh, first off, don't you mean 3rd season.
Second, just because there's no official announcement; it doesn't mean its over.

That logic so incredibly doesn't follow.

Also it ran for 8 cour, not two seasons, or one season, or whatever.

W/E I just went of wiki, and the dvd volumes were released in 2 sections/parts/"w/e"
And how does that logic not hold? As long as there is a fan base and a profit to be made they will most likely get something in the future.
I.E. Granted we haven't had a remake of FFVII we've had about a dozen spin-offs/sequels of it.

oh and for FFVII the movie for it there going to be a new on but it this have more seen in it and it's this going to be call "FFVII AC Complete" XD
