More mentally scarred, definitely. More confident, not sure; as her dialogue on B3/D3 suggests that she's still the same meek Helena, but with more emotional baggage over the loss of Commander.

She's still has her meek self but now she's more cryptic. Also, out of all META ships, she (and presumably Yorktown META) are perhaps the most cooperative ones story wise compared to other METAs.

It will be a hell if her ability in Ashes Showdown is making our fleet take more DMG.

I'll add that she just seems more sombre but still same old lovable Helena, albeit forced to be less meek because of the future thing.

In the future of many, many timeline. Ashes!Enterprise probably comes from the very first one, and has continued to seek a timeline where Commander didn't die but failed and now actively trying to prevent that happening from the shadows because even if you, the commander in the present continued to be alive past the singularity point (aka the point where all timeline experienced the same event, which is the death), you'll still never be her 'commander'. META ships most probably doesn't come from same timeline, but hopped between timelines before meeting each other and establishes their own faction.

Why doesn't Helena Meta get to keep the original artist? Both Hiryuu and Ark Royal kept their own artists.

Probably because they were going for the whole futuristic and alien vibe and look?

Helene's original art didn't really look like it would translate properly into either of those.

That is quite some question as someone else doing Helena would be an "over my dead body" sort of thing from realmbw.
