i recall the title shin megami tensei also means:
shin: god
megami: goddess
but i forgot what tensei means, anyway, SMT always use demons or mythical creature or folklore, so i guess it's normal. they even used the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse, trumpeter and even lucyfer, so why not for mother harlot?
