These two are such an adorable couple, we really need more art of them together! They actually have a really cute relationship in the shorts where they give each other presents and have cutesy nicknames for one another, and I really hope we can see more of that in the new seasons.

But really, are those two an item or a ship?
In the original TBS shorts which came out before the Netflix series, yes, there is some shipteasing between them, and a few posts from the official Japanese account that suggest towards them being close, such as Komiya visiting Tsunoda after she's sick from work. Additionally their voice actors have said they support the pairing and I think in fact their dub VAs for Spanish version are a couple and did a cute video where they acted as their characters. Personally at the very least I'd say the ship has its value in the shorts, but I'd love to see it happen in the Netflix series too, I like the idea of them being able to "be real" with one another and have a person they can relate to and be honest with. Not to mention, he loves idols, and Tsunoda is the type of girl who wants a guy who idolizes her. I think they're a perfect fit and would be a lot of fun to see together. The fanart is amazing, too.
