A species of undead that lives in ruins in desert regions.
Like zombies, mummies are created by the power of a demon king possessing a human corpse. They retain the memories and personality that they had in life. However, a hungry mummy thinks very little and acts guided by instinct, so they are extremely dangerous.
Mummies are constantly assaulted by the feeling that their bodies are drying out. They attack human males and absorb energy from them through sexual intercourse in order to fill this need.
A mummy's reason and intelligence when it is at full power after collecting energy, and they become temporarily docile. However, their greedy bodies will very soon begin starving for energy again and they will begin seeking men again. So a man captured by mummies will not be released easily.
Also, human women are also sometimes attacked by mummies. In those cases, all of the magical power in the woman's body will be completely absored, and she will become a mummy. A woman who become a mummy will, like other mummies, surrender herself to the extreme hunger and dryness that comes from having lost her power and will starting attacking men.
Additionally, the skin of a mummy is extremely sensitive to stimulation. Simply touching a mummy gives them a strong pleasure. Depending on where the stimulation occurs on the body, the mummy may receive so much pleasure that it is unable to move for a while. In order to prevent that, mummies wrap themselves in a special bandage that supresses pleasure.
Therefore, if you encounter a mummy, it will be much easier to escape if you can just undo their bandages and stop their movement.
