Holy crap, you're right. If you look at Yomi sideways she kind of resembles the Canadian flag (taking into account the color of her uniform).
Reddish on the bottom, white in the middle with a red handprint in the center, and then reddish again on top.

Looking at this picture I can't help but wonder what Yomi would sound like (or by extension, Rie Tanaka not playing a tone-deaf character) singing the Canadian national anthem.
