I find extremely enjoyable the author´s portray of the characters, not only they don´t feel forced to me but i kinda believe they will act like this, maybe?. Recently i been thinking to myself " Damn i wish there was some kind of Arknights comic like the ones from Huqu" Not really for the sex, but more for the shenanigans and this gives that same feeling, which is great.

Considering they are humanoids with animal traits I wonder if some of them get in Heat, Amiya would be a mess since she is a chimera

Chimera in this context doesn't mean she's multiple animals. Based on the clues we have, she's potentially a Cautus/Sarkaz mix, but it could mean something else entirely.

From the bits of the lore, the Chimeric part of Amiya wasn't ONLY referring to her species. It was more specifically pointing to her Originium powers, which is a chimera/amalgamation from past Sarkaz leaders.

This author and Octodeco’s manga are my favourites, they’re very realistic to the Arknights character.
