    Izanagi and Izanami came to be from a hitorigami so maybe being made by one being doesn't count like them siblings.
    And greek gods are clearly built different... Zeus recovering from a "skull-birth" and creating live from severed body parts are just some of the bizarre things in divine biology.

    Ok, so, this guys are gods? I know they aren't quite human and that travel as shooting stars but they aren't like shong ly either?

    I mean, aren't they? The Traveller could fly before the intro, shows insane resilience, and can change shape to adopt the form of people they're close to. And there's also the whole "can send grown men flying with a flick of a one-handed sword" thing.
    Not sure how much of it is artistic liberty and what's canon, but yeah, they're not really humans.
