I think Raiden looks amazing dressed (or undressed) in just about anything, in-universe style or not. Yet because bras appear to be simply nonexistent in Genshin, I end up with mixed feelings when seeing them included in fanon variations of the game costumes.

For Raiden in particular, I think:

• Kimono + shrug: default design always looks great.
• Shrug + bra only: this art piece looks great; and it works in general without the fancy kimono present to promote unconsciously making judgmental comparisons.
• Kimono + bra only: varies between fashionably acceptable or not (e.g., if the bra straps look unsightly).
• Kimono + shrug + bra: usually detracting because it is impossible NOT to notice the out-of-place bra straps and think, "this looks wrong."

Is it canon vs fanon snobbery, or just personal preference?
