Just because you're unres, doesn't mean you're safe from flags. Parenting has nothing to do with flags or approvals, so, don't vandalize it, because you're afraid of your upload getting flagged.
The danbooru function of parenting an inferior and superior image doesn't determine if an image gets approved or flagged. I didn't say, that if the superior version of an image gets deleted, the inferior one is safe, I just said, that you shouldn't try hiding your image with removing the parent.
