Yet another anime-inspired matte painting. (-: This scene is a landscape brought to life from "Made in Abyss", which aired just a few weeks ago. The anime follows the story of two kids descending down a strange pit in search for the protagonist's mother, who is supposedly somewhere at the bottom of the "Abyss" several thousand meters below the ground. The pit has several layers of beautiful surreal landscapes, where the "Goblet of Giants" is one of them further down the road consisting of these cup-shaped giant mushrooms. During their growth the goblets are filled with acid and only once the goblets reach full growth the fluids will turn into steaming hot water pools.
