Okina is partially Hata no Kawakatsu, a trusted friend of prince Shotoku, Miko's previous incarnation. She also has the spell card "Secret Ceremony "Sword of the Seven Stars"" named after Miko's sword thingy. This is the same Hata no Kawakatsu who's responsible for Hata no Kokoro's creation, which makes Okina and Miko the parents of Kokoro.
