It would be more important I think to have uploaders who become fans, or fans who become uploaders. For instance, there is an awful lot of good art out there that I pass up on all the time (because my upload queue is now over a year long and growing), which will in all likelihood never be uploaded to the site.

I've noticed though that the series/artists that are popular with the uploaders are usually picked clean. Basically, they have a set of uploaders who have adopted those series/artists, who dedicate time to searching out art from those series/artists.

An example of a series which is popular with the artists but not Danbooru is Umamusume, and I continue to find large swaths of unuploaded high quality art from that series. Opposite of that are series like Fate, where it is almost guaranteed that the high quality art will be uploaded by somebody.
