Yeah it's some sort of "enhanced" port that allows the option of choosing your MC gender (with some slight changes based on which you pick) and it's got some new music as well as the ability to control the characters in battle like with P4

I imagine there will be more the slight changes unless she will be complete les.

Well, just imagining certain scenes with a female protagonist gets me thinking... Including...
The Love Hotel, the Hot Springs, the maid outfit Yukari needs to wear, dating certain characters... Come to think of it, they'd really need to add or rewrite a lot of social links.

Though I can imagine Aegis and the protagonists relationship remaining the same, even if they include FES material.

Ah, I think I'm currently in that "fanboy mode" wherein one imagines the untold possibilities of a new game that results in a burst of creativity, impatience, a loss of money, and ultimately, disappointment.

These will need a Persona_3_PSP tag or something.

Well their isn't any dating the same gender, but I can't think of to many big changes.

Not that I don't love atlus and all but this psp port reeks of milking.

The more I think about it, the more scenes I realize will need to be rewritten or worked around. There's plenty of scenes in the original that reference things like "Sorry, Minato, but this is a girl's only conversation," Junpei would probably treat you a LOT differently (hitting on you and probably wouldn't get jealous). The dorm might have to be reorganized to put you on the third floor... Given the amount of socialization required in the game, it will take a lot more than changing a couple bits of dialogue and reversing a few pronouns. It's quite an undertaking.

And I'm aware I'm putting way too much thought into this. I simply have no life. Please bear with me.

Added some temporary tags for "Male Elizabeth" and the female Main Character. The tags can be changed once we get some new information.

buuut I really hope thats not the case,and besides,if they do that its like making another different scenario entirely,and its unlikely they will do that...right?

I've seen a few scans of the Famitsu article and it looks like most of the cast's genders are remaining as they are in the original. Nothing is for sure but I think only the MC and Elizabeth are being subject to gender swapping. Hopefully we'll get more concrete details soon.

I'd rather this be a spin-off story in an alternate universe than a re-port with dialogue changes.

However, it still won't stop me from playing the girl's side just for the change of pace.

I bet this is going to be the same story but through her eyes while the male MC is still around. Both having the wild card ability though. I'm thinking she's just going to be an added character except you control her instead of ol' blue hair. Watch this play off to the fans through her social links after maxing them out you get a true ending of Blue hair sacrificing himself like in P3, events of FES happen then you fin out from both Eliz and Dude Liz years later(after P4) that Femhero has the power to bring him back without breaking the seal. Fans around the world ruin there good undies. Ah my stupidity never ends.

Would only work if they made her his little twin sister (two minutes younger lol) or something.

Personally would have preferred a sequel
This time its the the Tower of Babel with one of the faces of YHVH (god) on top of it (the disco ball has come to persona town). And yes you guest it you need to stop the Conception from happening (has a bit of contras between the two games one you are trying to stop the death of all the other you try to stop the recreation of all).
Add in Lucifer trying to tempt you into fucking things up with the prospect of bring back your brother to life without opening the gate and other stuff here and there explain away your absence in P3FES with a 10 year coma after the accident that killed your parents and tada.

Or something like that I don't know.
