I have just tried to visit Daram's Pixiv in hopes he had done some new Sukinako art only to find his account suspended for some reason. It must have been recent since this set of Neru images was only uploaded here three days ago.
This right after finding Eufoniuz had been suspended also. Is there something going on with Pixiv? Any other artists that have been suspended recently?

Probably someone is being a snitch and reporting them. Noting that Eufoniuz is drawing umamusume lewds.

I am very much out of the loop with the Umamusume crowd, I just admire all the cute and sexy fanart that gets posted. I do remember there being some minor complaining about lewding the horse girls claiming it was disrespectful the real horses they were names after but I thought that was it.
Are Umamusume R18 posts not allowed on Pixiv or is this just some joke I am not getting since I don't follow the game?

A number of owners of umafied horses have objected to lewds of their horses, even forbidding making content of their horses. This is a problem for Cygames, as they need the permission of these owners to do anything with the uma versions of those horses. So, to placate these owners, Cygames has effectively banned the creation and distribution of uma lewds, and Pixiv complies by forbidding them from their site.

Does Pixiv itself actually enforce this? Like, is it actually stated somewhere in their ToS or an official statement?
Cause, there's still 1000 images in the R18 Umamusume section. If Pixiv was actually actively enforcing something like that, I doubt there'd be so much of it still being uploaded to the site.

I too never heard of pixiv enforcing such a new rule either, although it's because I don't read moonspeak, and the furthest I know of banning rules usually pertain to censorship (because japan art laws or whatever), underage related loli stuff (although it doesn't seem to be enforced that hard, at least from what I can see). I guess there is also copyright or trademark related rules, which could be what it falls on, but I assume it would also be sparsely enforced. Something like those illegal internet streaming or download multimedia laws that happens mostly to the most unlucky ones who get caught.
It is strange to see him being singled out, but that isn't exactly rare for it to happen. I remember one of my favorite artist got hit by the loli rule(?) itself, although it might not be the full story. It was the only other reason I could think about why he had a second account after just finishing posting his magnum opus but again, I might be completely wrong (still funny how it happened lol)
Wait, loli art is not allowed on Pixiv despite there being a massive and very active loli tag?
Went digging around in pixiv's guidelines
Show
Prohibited Works The following works can be considered potential candidates for deletion:
For works containing images or text:
Works that are defamatory, threatening, economically or emotionally damaging or detrimental Works that contain needlessly warped or distorted depictions of sex Works that contain shockingly or disturbingly strong violence Works that promote needlessly extreme ideas Works that glorify or excessively foster antisocial conduct Works that discriminate against race, belief, occupation, gender, or religion Works that display the actions of religious cults or political extremists Works that contain inhuman cruelty which is exaggerated to be needlessly shocking and that could be expected to lead to imitation Works that contain clearly sexualized depictions of young children *If censorship (such as mosaics or pixelation) is used, exceptions will be made as long as the works are considered to be socially acceptable
For works containing images (illustrations, manga, Ugoira, novel covers, novel reference materials, directly uploaded images, etc)
Expressions of exposed genitalia Foreign objects that are meant to represent sexual acts or exposed genitalia Works that are mainly real-life photographs (*)
*About works that are mainly real-life photographs:
The following works are permitted to be posted and used unless they contain inappropriate expression for people under the age of 18
Works where the photograph is not the main subject of the image, such as when a photograph is used as a background
Works where the photograph has been altered to the point that it can no longer be considered a photograph
Works where a photograph is used as a cover for a novel
Works where the photograph is used with the Reference Materials feature in Novels
Works uploaded into Novels using the "Upload illustrations" feature
So I guess either Pixiv doesn't make any effort to enforce these guidelines unless they get a report about it, or the censorship exception applies to loli/shota content as well. There's nothing about umamusume btw.

It is pretty weird considering the amount of loli eroge, manga and even R18 anime that is created and sold in Japan. Both officially and through the doujinshi market.
And all the loli harem series we have had over the last ten plus years. Lotte no Omocha, Rou-Kyu-Bu, Tenshi no 3P, Wataten and many others.

I think in the case of the said artist I'm talking about, it might have been someone reporting him and pixiv having to take action. His stuff was pretty hardcore, even if there are more hardcore stuff, and he was popular enough to get attention. I was there when his old account was still active but then he had to make a second one and his old one was just locked down and he had to delete most of his work, hence why half of his older works had bad pixiv ID (and most of the ones I had bookmark, and I had a bunch just vanished from my feed). Although, once again, I might be completely wrong and would like to know an explanation since this was years ago but I find it hard to believe he made a second account, stopped using his first account immediately mere days after his alley girl post, and deleted so much of his work just because he felt like it.

I guess we can technically count the UM thing under [Works that are defamatory, threatening, economically or emotionally damaging or detrimental], given the whole "who the horse girls are based on" booey, and plus easily a few more of the rest if searched hard enough for evidence in rule breaking. Interesting enough, not only Loli, but many of the said art with dedicated art tag break those rules in Guro and bunch of the R-18 that involve hardcore sex/rape related stuff are very active. I mean; [Works that contain shockingly or disturbingly strong violence], [Works that glorify or excessively foster antisocial conduct], [Works that contain needlessly warped or distorted depictions of sex] makes up a bulk of the R-18G section on pixiv.
Both Daram's and Eufoniuz's Pixiv accounts have been restored and all of Eufoniuz's Umamusume lewds are still there. Looks like both of them were hit by some asshat's malicious false flagging.
Edit: Correction, it seems it was only Eufoniuz who got restored while Daram made a new account.

I'll speculate that Daram's case is just the usual "artist purging his work and making a new account" shenanigan. At least Eofoniuz's account is restored. I just remember another artist become a victim of this cuz he was making Umamusume lewds.
