I can understand Madokami, the Magia Record anime as a whole seemed to me like it didn't know what it wanted to be: it had a few light-hearted SoL moments focusing on the Mikazuki Quintet, but also tried to walk in the original anime's footsteps with a clumsy and clunky plot that had aspects of Urobuchi's flair and "edge", with a bitter-sweet ending compared to the gacha.
Regardless, I still liked it despite its flaws, and that ending with the goddess recieving the record was nice. It was interesting to discover all those new girls with great designs and powers/weapons, like the Mikazuki Quintet, Momoko and her two protégées or the Amane sisters. And as a Sayaka fan, S2 was a blessing, for I could see the Azure Paladin kick ass and be happy in general, and not at daggers drawn with Homura (I think it helped that she was still Moemura) in particular.

tbh what interest me the most in MagiReco is seeing more Puella Magi.
