    English:

    Graduation ceremony. Everyone gave the teacher a gift of hairdressing.However, the hairdressing makes him bald. But he continued to use it regardless.He did not want to waste their feelings.

    i think the latter would be fit more here, cuz it's used here to mean a man who gains special respect with admiration from other people especially men, cuz of his attitude never going against what he said to the children, as if it's a strong promise, even though it's detrimental to him, and even if he hasn't got and won't get a chance to meet them to let them know if he keeps it.
