When a certain vtuber from a big agency were terminated, Mikeneko's clip quickly swarmed my Youtube feed out of nowhere. It's like when Kson came back from hiatus just after another vtuber from the same agency graduated.

Vtuber fans are a bit scary sometimes.
They did a good job of keeping her sanity on hold. But now, all retraining bolts are off the lid.
wdym? their previous identities are pretty much an open secret which they are aware of or you're implying that we should abandon them just because they left their agencies for whatever reason?
Vtuber identity is at most half of the talent behind the screen. The other half is community based myth. Then you add in collaborative efforts with *other* mythical beings/vtubers. The strength of Hololive revolves around the *cast* of characters.
I honestly does not understand what you or the other guy trying to convey. I asked the other guy why "Vtuber fans are a bit scary sometimes" when it is normal to seek more content of a legitimately entertaining personalities and Youtube's algorithm just naturally picks up on it. and their pre-hololive identities is an open secret because they literally had to have experience in content creation if they wanted to apply.
For you, what do you mean by that? Are you implying, with those words you marked with asterisks, that she is isolated by the entire vtubing community because of her (objectively) fatal mistake and therefore only worth half of her "value" permanently and somehow unworthy of redemption? Do you think her extremely loyal fans whole adores her and her content no matter the circumstances cared about that sort of things?
problem is that a good chuck of fans end up as delusional as the ones they follow. Funny is that the JP fans don't bite it as some mock her, except her overseas fans who barely understand JP (or not at all)
Think of it like Touhou or Kantai Collection. You've got the official canon stuff. And then you've got the fan generated content. Vtubers tap into that creative energy, sometimes taking fan memes and making them "canon". People love being a part of stuff like that. The mythology.
Like Pekora being a war criminal. That whole skit with her going to jail, that was in response to the fans.

I'm not following mikeneko but this take is so silly considering she has 800k subs now and her first L2D stream is over 900k views in less than 24 hours. A quick glance also shows that Japanese chat comments and SCs also aren't lacking, either. I won't doubt that her % of overseas fans has gone up but a blanket "JP fans don't bite it" claim is clearly untrue.
Wait, if Kson is "you know who" then why she left the agency by own will only to keep doing vtuber activities? With Mineneko at least it was because she was terminated.
Who said she left the agency because she didn't want to be a vtuber anymore? She was already a vtuber before joining, and she never stopped being Kson during that time, she just streamed less.

Kson applied for staff position, but they accepted her as vtuber. She felt restricted by the rules, not to mention chingchong antis kept bothering her stream and she didn't want the antis to try and cancel the rest of the group, so she left voluntarily.

the restriction came when hololive itself getting too much exposure and of course YT bot being a souless prick hammering them in the past forces a good majority of them to adapt. (Ex. Korone can't play her usual games anymore)
