men don't change no matter human or less than human. the male Youkai would be far more interested in going out into the real world and using their powers to their advantage over the humans (to become powerful businessmen/ rock stars/serial murders/whatever) than to sit around in a small backwater town where nothing at all happens 99% of the time.
