Much better cleaning/checking process there so it's less of a risk. Alternatively toss the eggs in a sous vide bath for a while.

Not in 1st world countries where egg health is properly maintained.

you're supposed to eat this from healthy chickens also its safer from brown eggs, not white eggs where their protective coating is gone. safe in 1st world countries and every japanese person i know that has eatened this has never gotten sick.

Also tried it myself, its actually quite good. With very minimal time and prep needed. Its the perfect Lazy dish.

Brown eggs being healthier is a myth, there is no difference to white eggs aside pigmentation.
