They were heavily censored in the anime. In the anime, the three of them cut their arms off and shot a laser that formed Allon. Afterwards their arms were gone and red light covered the stub. I'm serious. What the fuck?
In the manga, they literally chopped off their own arms. Blood and everything. Their three arms then FORMED Allon.
For some reason, the anime has a problem with limb loss. Ichimaru originally chopped Jidanbo's arm off when he tried to open the gate for Ichigo, which Orihime later healed. Yammy originally tore Chad's arm off, which Orihime also healed. And I have no clue if it's related, but Kukaku's missing arm was originally just a bandaged stub, but the anime gave her a wooden prosthetic arm (which was fully functional as a real arm, for some bizarre reason).
When Allon injured Rangiku, he really tore a huge chunk right out of her. The anime implied the damage was entirely internal.
When Grimmjow beat up those two female Arrancar who were bullying Orihime, he just knocked them out, but Orihime healed them. In the manga, Grimmjow actually killed them. I recall a particularly intense shot with one of them laying there with her organs spilling out. Orihime revived her from the dead in the manga.
Similarly, when Yammy had his arm reattached by that Arrancar medic, he punched her into a wall and remarked that he should've been able to knock her through it. In the manga, he punched and smashed her head in, killing her, then remarked that he should have been able to split her in half. In a moment of praise for the Bleach english dub, the English voice actor for Yammy uses his manga line of splitting her in half.
And don't even get me started on how they de-monsterfied Szayel Aporro Granz. The Bleach anime just seems to be getting more and more tame in comparison to the manga.

Its ALLLL censored. Japanese or english alike. I pretty much raged just as much as OrigamiChimera. I don't even watch the anime anymore. Manga only now.
