    Its more of a doujin artist thing to not care for the lore and just rape the protagonists, but i see it a lot in "fan"art too.

    It gets even dumber, female characters getting raped, despite having either superpowers or superhuman strength, because "mEn ArE sTrOnGeR".

    Yes that sounds like a Valid Reason. Another one would be that this Mage Tome was from her Father and seeing one of the last Things she has from him getting torn up is pretty sad.

    Should take your complaints to the developers who made the game she's from, because she literally gets captured by bandits and you have to rescue her. Lol.
