What is this "M" Nanoha-chan mistaken as?

I know "M" is often used for "masochist" in Japanese, but I don't see how it applies to Nanoha.

If you go back 3 pages in this doujin, it references a commercial Vivio watched, ending in this.

Basically it talks about how if you remove the "M" from "Mother", you get "Other", which... is pretty broken logic

So it's all a bad joke. I have to wonder what the original Japanese was here.
