this is tagged mouse_ears and mouse_tail because rat_tail and rat_ears are aliased to those. This is a rat.
These tags are intended for human-ish characters with rodent features, not actual rodents. We don't use the animal_ears or tail tags when the ears and tails belong on a creature of that species. See the long-resolved forum discussion at topic #5415.
