I'm not so sure on the translation.
Marth's catchphrase(at least in Smash Bros) is "Mina mitete kure" which is basically "Everyone, look at me"

The way I translated it is "Shit! Why won't anyone look at me!" (naze daremo mite ite kure nai!)

works either way, doesn't it? But if it's a bother, feel free to edit it the way it best suits you.

Looking at someone and watching over someone are rather different things - the latter has connotations like a parent watching over a child, while the former sounds like he just wants attention (again, going by that Smash Brothers quote).
