I reckon it'll just be your default bike until late game when catch the Legendaries.
Otherwise it is really weird if you really do get to use the box Legendaries like 2 hours into the game. Also not helping with the common complaint that all Legendaries since BW lost their majesty cus they'd just been handed to you on a silver plate.

It's their descendant. Koraidon was the 'original' species that lives in the past and resurrected (like Kabuto/LORD HELIX), Cyclizar was the current form their descendant take in the current time, and Miraidon was somebody's take of 'what if we make a robot Koraidon?'
