That doesn't explain anything. Gay jokes aside, Cecil is pretty much into vaginas, so is Cloud and Squall. At least WoL might be interpreted as simply being extremely dense.

Cecil is a grown man and has a wife, he's seen tits. He's reacting fine.

Squall and Cloud as straight as they are, find the stupidity more annoying than the fanservice worth it.

WoL is just too straight-laced and devout to the cause of beating the badguys to even consider sex or fanservice.

I'm going with Nunners. Squall and Cloud are too serious in personality to start skipping around going "yay boobies" like Zidane is in his head right now.

It is, in fact, entirely possible for guys to think of things as more important than sex and women without being gay.

I'd think the translation would make their reactions inferable: Cecil is taking things in stride ("suffering" the awkwardness or whatever), and Cloud & Squall are defecting from the 'action' as per their character, though they're still affected by it.

The great thing about this is everyone can see themselves in at least one one of nine.

Cloud and Squall are both dour assholes who hate fun.
