What is it that makes these AI images easy to spot? I think it's the eyes.

Yes, it is the eyes. It's because the VAE used for upsampling the generated image has a tougher time improving finer details like eyes.

I have yet to see an ai-generated piece that didn't have bizarre mistakes you wouldn't see from a human creator. Weird, misplaced splotches, excessive blurriness, garbled "signatures". The ones that are just scenery tend to be the hardest to spot, because usually the only tell-tale sign is being unaturally blurry, if it doesn't have a "signature"

The signatures are honestly my favorite part, because it's literally an announcement, "Hey! Our database is filled with several million signed images we didn't get anyone's permission to use!" and the AI developers just pass it off as a "quirk" of the AI "learning" and not a serious question of ethicality.

they don't care about ethics or morals or codes, they don't care about artists either, I think this tool was created with bad intentions, why not make a tool that uses artificial intelligence to create a good translator? they chose to mess with painters because they are easy prey, why not create a dataset with copyrighted music of famous artists? there they say and I quote "keeping any kind of copyrighted material out of training data was a must" or "In honoring the intellectual property of artists" because that would bring them problems with the record labels that own the rights of the songs; but they can feed the dataset that Stability Diffusion uses with all the artbooks of Yoh Yoshinari; draw your own conclusions i believe that all work done with AI should be banned from Danbooru.

Sorry for my first post, my Japanese is horrible and I misunderstood what the artist meant.

Following the stunt with NovelAI, it is, and it will probably be deleted once someone notices it.
