Had there been a place where roses bloomed in Constantinople at that time, I wonder if he would have looked at the remnants of the flowers he had destroyed after the invasion and thought, "I will rebuild it properly and make them bloom beautifully again..."~ I drew Mehmed II's doodle while imagining that (long)
