In retrospect, it was a good thing Homura didn't tell anybody about the Witchification process of the Puella Magi, it allowed for great interactions between her and a wiser and friendlier Sayaka, the scenes between those two were great in MagiReco S2.

Also, even if Homura's "lie by omission" ended up only postponing Walpurgisnacht's attack on Mitakihara and, as it is strongly implied, the deaths of all the other members of the Holy Quintet, forcing her to go back in time to start a new timeline, I want to think they managed to defeat the great Witch, because damn, the girls deserve their happy ending.
