There's already some anime where one girl transforms into the MC's sword, none have been yanderes that I know of.

Erementar Gerad has a yandere weapon, but not on MC's side. Although there was probably one in the countless manga out there: I do remember there'a manga about the MC dating a holy sword, a manga about a blacksmith wanting to create a holy sword so he 'inspected' the former hero's sword (ecchi galore) or an isekai one where the MC got stabbed by his own katanas by house-breaking thieves, and reincarnated with both katanas transformed into bombshell ladies.

But if you do count other weapons than a sword then Tsugumomo probably counts.

Anyone remembers Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance? I remember the MC has a yandere girl as his blade before getting the current one (in the show).

Yeah, that was the one I was thinking about, still need to read the novels, I watched the Anime so long ago I forgot the previous girl was Yanderish.
