Artist's commentary
"Fool's Chain"
I have wanted to paint this for several years after seeing the description of the Fool's Chain that Bedi has to eat 144 pieces of before he reaches his skill level: "A chain created to bind down transient souls into this world, keeping them from ascending to heaven".
Since I drew it as I imagined it in my brain, I apologize that it is an impossible situation in terms of the setting.
