Capital of Spirits First and last characters of Miko 神子 and Futo 布都 respectively
This picture is the scene when Futsuhime and Prince Shoutoku (Miko) became shikaisen. On the surface, the high-ranked Prince Shoutoku believed in Buddhism, but in reality, she believed in Taoism. In order to find a way to become immortal, she refined a potion of immortality (the and jars on the shelf on the lower-right corner), which allowed the spirit to adhere to an object. Futsuhime took the potion first on the Prince's behalf (from 蘇我屠自古は語らない's setting). To Miko's side is the Divine Spirit Mausoleum, which gathers many human spirits wearing official dress and hats. These spirits used to be the loyal officials that followed Prince Shoutoku. In front of the mausoleum is pasted various charms, these are all Taoist charms. Becoming a shikaisen, Futo's spirit gradually left her body and entered a dish (based on Symposium of Post-mysticism, Futo seems to be using a dish, while Miko uses a treasured sword, which she is holding). Next to Futo is a screen with drawings of Laozi and a Bagua, which represent Taoism. Prince Shoutoku and Futsuhime said farewell to one another. If the process of becoming a shikaisen fails, they will never be able to meet again. But a line guides the two together, and one day, they ultimately saw each other once again after being revived in this world.
