Kobeni is an aggressively loathsome character; a cartoonist's caricature of everything bad about women. Yet there exists a sizable population, with that certain type of projective inferiority complex, who feel the need to constantly proselytize "she's literally me" as a means of existential catharsis.
I know, she had ~two pages where she actually did her job and moderately inconvenienced those two devils. Whoop-de-fucking-do. She's making the equivalent of a GS-15 salary, so I would hope she can do her job... at all. Conversely, government work also frowns on having a mental breakdown and stabbing your coworkers (and superiors) when things don't go exactly to plan.
Just don't hire someone so egregiously unqualified. You don't need to be the massive-brain devil to put that one together. Maybe just hire a guy out of the JGSDF who has a proven record of calculated decision-making and superior problem-solving skills. In the words of Jack Torrance, Kobeni's had, "her whole fucking life to think things over, what good's a few minutes more going to do her now?"

Being "anxiety" and "scared" is just the extent of her paper-thin personality. Almost killing Aki (and attempting to kill Denji) because she is incompetent and overly-emotional, letting her parents steal her money to finance her brother's life (because she is passive and can't stand up for herself), letting her coworkers at the burger place physically beat her (?) for not singing a jingle, abuse which she accepts even though she is a capable fighter. She is useless, indecisive, pathetic, and a detriment to everyone, i.e. a cartoonish embodiment of negative female stereotypes. She serves no purpose in the book.
she serves the purpose of being comic relief, sorry you cant find it funny, but idk how you cant see that, were talking about a world were tomato devils exsist, the fast-food part is supposed to be dark humor on how much low wage jobs suck she couldn't go to collage after all, but we live in a society and gotta pay our bills. Fujimoto said that the whole DDR machine part was made because he felt that dark was being too dark and he needed to balance it out. you might see it as pathetic how shes acting but thats the point. its supposed to feel cringy
