Change it if you wish to. It's called a contribution, and I have to agree that the accent is a bit on the stupid side.

Btw, a friend of mine guessed Sendai-ben.

Also, the accent that was given to Yuuka reminds me strongly of the scene from Meet Joe Black where he talks with the Jamaican lady at the hospital. And if you know the plot of the movie, I think it makes the accent totally awesome here. :P

I feel like there should be a tag or pool for this accent, especially if it's just for Yuuka. I love it.

The accent reads more Scottish than Southern, IMHO.

Whatever you do: Don't translate an accent, with another accent! Especially in script.
It's annoying as fuck and makes it harder to read - even more so if english is not your first languag).
It's fine with colloquialism and such. But most of them just look like some letter's are missing or give the impression that Yuuka's a retard

Hey, it's not like it's an easier on the translator from Japanese. You at least get the unmuddied translator notes at the bottom each box.

Personally, I'm guessing that she's speaking Ibaraki dialect because of the ppe and be particles and the slight shift in inflection in some of the letters in the words.
